You can’t help but fall in love with the Lot Valley
Originally built in the 15th century as a mill and later used as a hunting lodge by the local lords, Mas de Garrigue B&B is nestled in a pocket of France that feels wonderfully untouched by time. It’s a world of cliffside villages, ancient stone dolmens, and bustling markets rich with local flavor.
Our own journey here began with love at first sight. Driven by a shared passion for good food, love of creativity, and desire to embrace the slow pace of country life, we have shaped the Mas into more than just a B&B – a soulful retreat, where history meets modern comforts to create an authentic French escape.

Laure
"A true citizen of the world, I grew up in Switzerland, Asia and Australia, spending summer holidays exploring the history and foodways of this beautiful corner of France. My passion for hosting is fueled by a lifelong love of cooking and the joy of bringing people together. I can’t wait to share our stunning home and my favorite local flavors with you."
Toby
"A classic Australian country boy, I have a passion for all things French. My early career as a journalist nurtured my love of storytelling and my genuine curiosity about the lives of everyone I meet. As your host, I make sure your stay is as seamless as it is memorable, bringing Aussie humour to the old stones of Mas de Garrigue."

We can comfortably accommodate up to 15 guests across 5 rooms using quality additional bedding. Exclusive hire of the B&B makes us the ideal choice for your next family reunion, cycling tour through the Dordogne and Lot, or long weekend with friends.

Five stars all round. Actually make that ten. The property is beautiful complete with swimming pool in a gorgeous part of France. My room was huge and extremely comfortable and Laure and Toby are the perfect hosts: warm and welcoming as well as being knowledgeable about the area. I'm a cyclist and they recommended some terrific routes.

We adore them and most of our guests do too. But in the spirit of full transparency, this is their home. If dogs aren't really your thing, we completely understand and we would gently suggest another property might suit you better.
